well I did it - off and running for two days now. Drove through our favorite sister state, NJ. stopped at a rest stop on the NJ Tnpk.  and kept on going - never looked back.

DELAWARE

Drove on Rt. 1 and 13 all the way down to Dover DE. Spent the night in Dover. Couldn't get any Wi-fi the next morning. Drove down rt 13, crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, continued on rt. 13, stopped for lunch in Ashokie NC. Got wi-fi there and bought a GPS. continued on rt 13 to New Bern, NC drove through there at night and picked up US Rt. 17.
