The weather in Ireland is mild in February. I would say, mid-40s. This is Limerick but I'm not seeing  a lot of rain - skies are mostly overcast with sunshine peeping out here and there. 
They eat of lot of eggs and ham for breakfast although they call it "bacon". I like it very much and it goes well with my philosophy to eat heaviest early in the day. I have tried the Scottish smoked salmon and it was delicious! 
This was just a quick trip down Bourdain Lane. 
Today is Monday and it will be a day of rest. I will drive into Adare later in the day.

Had some fun with the GPS and went Off-roading on one lane and dirt roads.












Drove to Dungarvan Castle on the Southern Coast. The Day was overcast with some rain and a lot of Wind.

Stopped at Malahide Castle on my way down to Rossaire Harbor. Stayed in a B&B there. Saw Palm trees in Rossaire!
