As a child of a parent who suffered from the symptoms of post traumatic brain injury syndrome, I grew up learning the rules of life by walking through a mine field. Each day was spent trying to avoid stepping on a well hidden mine. But avoiding mines is very difficult for children.
My sister described it perfectly. "Our childhood was like "Chicken Little". We spent all our time looking up waiting for the sky to fall."
And fall it did. No matter what the circumstances were - you could count on one sure thing. Maybe Soon, maybe later, but eventually, the sky would fall.
.... and that is what this presidency feels like to me.
