Yesterday's ride was stunning - worth the entire trip - I forgot how beautiful Southern CA is .... Went up the Pacific Coast Highway from just North of Camp Pendleton (I passed 2 military bases - not sure which one was more south) anyway got on the PCH north of the military base and drove to LA - skirted LA via the freeway (a nightmare) and then drove a breathtaking canyon road (Kanan Dune Rd. - County rt.9) back down to the highway. Continued up the coast on PCH - there are stunning open coastal
